SNAILS and worms held no fears for youngsters from Sheet's Little School at Pooh Corner nursery.

The children enjoyed a morning of workshops, thanks to a visit from Vicky Guest of Petersfield museum.

The 'mini beast' roadshow gave children the chance to take part in a variety of activities such as a bug hunt, creepy crawlie-related stories, seeing bugs close up, and counting the number of legs and recognising patterns of certain species.

Vicky's visit was aimed at promoting science.
