BORDON Junior School pupils took over the Petersfield Museum and Flora Twort Gallery as part of the Children's Commissioner's Takeover Day 2012.

More than 30 pupils from the school took charge at the museum last Friday as part of the national scheme, which gives children the chance to shadow jobs, get involved in decision making and offer their opinions on key issues.

Working in groups, they got involved in a variety of projects, including designing information booklets, gallery trails and posters for the museum, as well as giving feedback and ideas about current and future exhibitions they would like to see.
