STAFF at Potters Gate Children’s Centre in Farnham hosted its annual coffee morning to say thank you to all of those who supported the centre over 2016.

The lively morning, which offered an endless flow of scrumptious cakes and hot drinks was dedicated to The Dempster Trust; Farnham Lions; Schroder Trust; Farnham Town Council; Farnham Hedgehogs; Potters Gate School; St Andrew’s School; Wrecclesham Community Centre; Farnham parents and parent governors; Opportunities; Wrecclesham Community Project; and Herald proprietor Sir Ray Tindle and Lady Tindle.

Mary Doody, manager at Potters Gate Children’s Centre, said: “I have had the pleasure of leading this amazing team for nearly nine years now.

“I just wanted to thank you all, many of you have come three, four years on the trot, if not longer and that is the consistent support you have given to us here, for the team, myself and to our families – many of whom have benefited from your support to us.

“I just really want to thank you for the on-going support to the families, and also to thank the team actually because Surrey continues to make changes, and more are coming this year. We look forward to developing new relationships with new people as well.”
