CHRISTMAS preparations got underway in Northchapel with the primary school’s annual Santa’s Sack service at St Michael’s Church.

At this special service, presents were collected for children of all ages in West Sussex who are in greatest need.

In the countdown to Christmas, the school Parent Teacher Association and staff set up a Christmas fair in school for everyone.

And end-of-term excitement grew with a hectic round of rehearsals, trying on costumes, making props and practising songs, all leading up to a succession of plays and cabaret shows.
