A FREE Christmas lunch for older members of the Farnham community who would otherwise be alone on Christmas day is under threat for lack of a chef.
The Brightwells Gostrey Centre in Dogflud Way typically welcomes around 70 people for lunch on December 25, supported by 30 or so volunteers who help prepare and serve the food, create a jolly atmosphere and tidy up.
However, the centre fears it will have to cancel this year’s event unless a chef can be urgently found. Anyone interested is asked to email Stuart at [email protected].
