Thousands of ultra low emission vehicles registered in Waverley – as campaigners group call for more equal access across UKFather Christmas also walked through the crowd to stop and chat to his many fans, before settling into his magical grotto ready to receive a long line of visitors.
An added bonus was the opportunity to look inside the fire engine, which was parked at the market, and talk to village firefighters.
Further highlights were Haslemere Singing Studio singing carols and Christmas songs and St Luke’s toddler group doing Christmas crafts activities.
Red Rose Tea Room provided mulled wine, tea, coffee and cakes, and Kevin Kaighin from the butchers laid on a barbecue.
On sale at the stalls were jewellery, vintage items, cupcakes, art, stationery and festive table decorations and wreaths made by Grayshott Flower Club.
