AN enthusiastic volunteer team are once again organising a Christmas Market at St Thomas-on-the Bourne in aid of Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care on Saturday, December 2, from 10am to 12.30pm, and they have received wonderful support from many local Farnham businesses.
Christmas will get off to a flying start with many opportunities to buy Christmas gifts, decorations, homemade fare, raffle, tombola, toys, books, ladies handbags, colourful cushions, plants and fabulous range of craft materials for all creative enthusiasts, as well as a well stocked silent auction.
Many local restaurants have donated meals for two to be auctioned, a local hotel has donated a one night B&B and a local family have offered a week’s holiday for 10 people in five double bedrooms in immaculate 5* accommodation in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, a stunning location, to be auctioned at the same time.
This would be a real snatch for large family groups or friends getting together to holiday in one of the best towns on the south Welsh coast. Not to be missed, this is a Christmas Market with a difference.
Children are most welcome with stalls to interest them as well as some fun activities laid on for them. Entrance donation of £3, children free, includes refreshments. All proceeds are for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care.
