EGGAR’S School in Alton held a traditional Christmas party for more than 100 senior citizens from the town and its surrounding villages.

Headteacher Patrick Sullivan said: “We wanted to ensure post-Covid we continue our tradition of holding a community event.

“This time of year is about sharing and involving our senior citizens from around Alton.”

Rosemary Lock’s catering team provided a starter and a roast Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, while the PTA served mince pies and tea.

Year 11 pupils sang Twelve Days Of Christmas and there was also a raffle.
