CHURCHER’S College Junior School, in Liphook, held its annual swimming gala, which included 46 races in backstroke, breaststroke, front crawl, relay and float race.

And all the hard work in training clearly paid off, with everyone making a real splash and giving it their all, resulting in some outstanding performances.

Alice Chrismas, Eddie Jordan, Jorja Wright and Ethan Sitch-Oliver took first places and a close event saw Arun claim the “House Cup”, with Hamble coming second, Rother third, and Meon fourth.

Archie Rushin and Holly Gowing lifted the cup for Arun.
