CHURT businessman Terry Cohn (53) has given £250,000 to cancer research after donating 10 per cent of the proceeds from the sale of his 1937 Alfa Romeo car, reportedly after having major surgery.
But even though the car, billed as 'the best car in the world' when it was sold at a Christie's auction in California, sold for £2.5 million The Herald understands it still fetched only half of the amount anticipated.
