CLASSIC Car Day at Liphook’s Links Tavern proved to be a big success with exhibitors and punters enjoying an Indian summer.
A fantastic turnout at the Portsmouth Road pub raised £690 for Shooting Star Chase and Riding for the Disabled, a local charity.
Harry Strutters Hot Rhythm Orchestra provided the entertainment, while the infamous Fat Boys ran their popular barbecue.
Now in its second year and organised by the pub’s management together with village fundraiser Darren Martin, the event attracted a selection of Vintage Rolls Royce vehicles, MGs, Morgans, Austin Healeys, Jeeps, Porsches, a Morris Minor, Wolseley, Robin Reliant, as well as Bentleys, Jaguars, classic Ford models, Triumphs and Mini Coopers.
Star attractions were a classic red Ferrari and a black BMW M4 GTS, one of only 50 ever made in this country.
