ROWLEDGE Cricket Club’s thriving girls section has a new sponsor thanks to Wise & Co accountants in Farnham.

The club currently has more than 90 girls on its books competing at under 10, 12 and 14 levels in the Hampshire league, and to date all three teams are on a winning streak.

It also hopes to run an under 16 team next year and welcomes any girls interested in joining up to get in touch.

Haidee Goodwin, Rowledge CC events manager, said: “We are delighted that Wise & Co are sponsoring girls cricket this year. It is great to see the Rowledge and Wise logo on our shirts.

“Rowledge CC is a community-based club where all our members contribute to the running of the club on a weekly basis.

“We rely on the great support from our parent volunteers and our coaches, all qualified to EC level 2. Without this help we could not exist.”
