COCKTAIL bar with a twist, The Botanist, will be bedding into its new home in The Borough just in time for spring.
Set in the Grade II-listed former Cafe Rouge premises at 4-5 Townhall Buildings, the new bar has created 40 jobs and will open on Monday (February 29).
It promises botanical cocktails, craft beers and ales along with deli, rotisserie and barbecue inspired food with seating for 80 diners.
The Botanist will also host daily evening gigs and ‘lazy’ Sunday afternoon music sessions with the addition of a large working fireplace.
Ahead of its launch, staff delivered 150 heather flower pots outside businesses and shops in Farnham town centre this week to introduce themselves to the town (pictured).
Chris Hill, managing director of The Botanist’s parent company New World Trading said: “We are truly excited to be on Farnham’s fantastic high street. The building’s character lends itself perfectly to the Botanist.
“We believe it will be a welcome addition to the bustling scene in the town and we are looking forward to immersing ourselves within the neighbourhood.”
The Botanist Farnham will open daily from Sunday to Wednesday noon to 11pm, and Thursday to Saturday from, noon to midnight.
It is currently recruiting for a range of positions in management, front of house and within the kitchen. For more information visit thebotanist.uk.com.
