SIR Charles Cockburn, chairman of East Hampshire Citizens Advice and David Callow, session supervisor at its Alton office are pictured receiving a cheque for £500 from Jean Richards and Eileen Pike, volunteers at the Ecumenical Traidcraft coffee mornings which are held every Tuesday at Alton Methodist church.

Both men expressed gratitude for the donation, which will be used in the new offices to help improve privacy and other facilities within Alton Citizens Advice.

The weekly coffee mornings have been running for 12 years and have raised more than £8,000 for charity.
