During the same day, the Chase Hospital League of Friends got together to have a coffee morning and a bring-and-buy sale. Norma Scott from the league of friends said: "It was a good day, and we raised more than £130. We have taken part in the event for the last few years, because we all know someone that has had support from the Macmillan Nurses. They do such a great job, so it's nice to able to help in some way."
