STUDENT union president Connor Woodman helped Godalming College achieve its best ever A-level results this year.
Connor from Haslemere, took four A-levels, achieving A* grades in government and politics, history and A grades in mathematics and philosophy.
A grand total of 700 students took 2,490 individual exams in 43 A-level subjects and achieved a 99.52 per cent pass rate with 14 per cent achieving A* grades.
Sixty-three per cent achieved A* to B grades, while 121 students gained straight As at A-level or distinctions in BTECs or higher.
The Royal School in Haslemere also bucked the national downward trend by achieving 44.3 per cent passes at A* and A grades compared to the 2012 UK figure of 26.6 per cent.
