ALTON College is offering a new service: external exam candidates can now sit their exams at its Old Odiham Road site.
“We are now able to accept private candidates who wish to sit their exams without having completed a course of study at the college,” the college’s Vicky Small told the Herald.
“This may apply to home-schooled students, students who wish to retake exams who previously sat at another centre, or students who have been studying with a private tutor. Alton College offers exams from a number of different boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CIE and WJEC.
“Candidates are supported by our in-house exams team and the all-inclusive fee covers the exam board entry fee, invigilation and administrative costs and the sending of certificates when issued by registered post.”
