A new kind of church has started in Farnham – Bubble Church.

Bubble Church is a Sunday service especially for babies, toddlers, and young families and is running at St George’s Church, Badshot Lea, at 9.30am on the second and fourth Sunday of the month.

The next sessions will be on February 8 and 22.

The concept was developed in a London church during the Covid pandemic originally to allow families to sit in ‘bubbles’ at a distance from each other. It proved so popular that it has continued and spread, reaching Farnham at the start of the year.

Revd Lexi Russell who is running Bubble Church at St George’s said: “Bubble Church is a puppet-packed, Jesus-centred, coffee-and-food-fuelled, 30-minute kids’ and families’ adventure. Everyone is welcome.
