THE heartless theft of the patient raffle money tin from Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice last month has been countered by a surge of support from the community.
Staff at the hospice this week expressed a huge thank you to those who have shown immense kindness and generosity in response to the appalling act.
The thieves stole more than £70 raised in aid of the hospice, depriving patients and families affected with terminal illness and cared for by the hospice.
