PEOPLE objecting to a proposal to develop a composting and recycling facility in Runfold have warned that if plans gain approval it could put Farnham at risk of becoming the "compost heap for London and the South East".

SITA UK has submitted a planning application to build an In-Vessel Composter (IVC)- the largest of its kind in the UK- at Runfold South Quarry.
