POLICE are appealing for information after a 90-year-old Farnham woman had £10,000 taken from her bank account shortly before Christmas.

While shopping in the Hart Shopping Centre in Fleet on December 21, around noon, the victim was approached by two women as she left the lift to walk across the car park. They told her she had dropped £10.

The pensioner said she hadn't, but the two women insisted so she checked her handbag before carrying on walking to her car.

Later that day her bank told her that £10,000 had been taken from her account when her card was used in a shop in Tottenham, north London.
