WEST Surrey Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 48-year-old man, from Headley Down, who was last seen in the Hindhead area. Paul Read was last seen just before midnight, on Friday, when he was dropped off at Beacon Hill Road, in Hindhead, after an evening out with friends.  He failed to arrive at work the following morning and was not at the address where he was staying with friends. Mr Read, a builder, is thought not to have transport or taken any money with him. He is described as, white, 5ft 8ins tall, and of a stocky build. He has short, mousey, red-blonde hair and is clean shaven. He has a distinctive tattoo, on his upper left arm, of the Pink Panther. He was wearing jeans and a dark fleece top. Officers believe Mr Read may still be in the locality as he also has links in the Thursley, Headley Down and Liss areas.  Police are appealing for him or anyone who may know of his whereabouts, to contact them as a matter of urgency as both his family and officers are concerned for his safety.
