Chairman of the planning committee, George Watkinson, said that the application had come before his committee. Members agreed that Petersfield needed more housing, including affordable housing.
However, the committee had informed East Hampshire District Council of its concerns about access to and from the site, and cycle paths.
q The Ramshill development will be the subject of a site visit by East Hampshire district council planning south committee members on Friday May 10 at 9-30 am.
