SERIOUS concerns have been raised this week over a Hampshire Constabulary decision to close the Roads Policing Unit (RPU) in Whitehill.

The unit is to fall victim to a cost-cutting exercise, which Hampshire Constabulary claims will save council taxpayers in the region of £100,000 a year.
