IT was a special day for 12 young pupils from Herne Junior School this week when they enjoyed a children's orchestral concert in recognition of their work during the last term.

Harrison, Caitlin, Georgia, Anna, Joshua, Hannah, Harry, Elizabeth, Florence, William, Poppy and Katherine, who received certificates in recognition of their achievements, are pupils who had made a special effort in their work or were kind to other children.
