AN Elstead man who worked as a police interpreter escaped an immediate jail term last week after he was found in possession of false documents.
Oscar Thompson, 50, pleaded guilty at Guildford Crown Court last month to four charges – producing a false document, possessing a false identity document, and two counts of having articles for use in fraud.
