WHEN it is built, it will be the first of the much-needed, larger housing developments in Whitehill since the town gained eco-status.

But it is feared that the Moorlands estate, of 47 four and five-bedroom houses, is too close to the Hogmoor Sandpit, which is a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation.
