RESIDENTS living on the former gas works land at Farnham's Riverside should take precautions against possible soil contamination, including using gloves for gardening and not eating fruit and vegetables grown in the garden.
That was the advice delivered in a letter to Waverley Borough Council on Monday by Parsons Brinkerhoff, the consultants engaged by Waverley to test for pollution last December and in February and March this year.
