A CONTROLLED parking zone freeing-up roads used by commuters abd improved drainage for the High Street are among a number of highways schemes Surrey County Council looks set to implement in Haslemere.
Graham Hodgson, Waverley area engineer for SCC, said the proposal for a controlled parking zone had arisen following a number of complaints and requests to control parking in Haslemere, targeted particularly at commuters, when he unveiled the schemes to Haslemere Town Council's planning and highways committee last week.
