THIRTY-TWO pupils and five staff from Alton Convent School set off in search of more snow at the ski resort of Alpe d'Huez in France, at the start of the new year
Driving through the steep mountainside along hairpin bends they were met with some truly stunning scenery and were equally impressed when they arrived at the hotel.
All the students showed rapid progress in their skiing skills, in particular the beginners group which by the end of the week were racing back up the mountain to tackle some of the tougher blue runs.
