ST MARGARET'S, a convent school, which has pupils from across Haslemere, has confirmed it is

to close.

The private school near Midhurst, for boys and girls aged up to 11, will shut its doors at the end of the

summer term, on July 9. About 40 staff and 150 pupils are looking for new places.
