UPDATED plans to redevelop an abandoned pub will be presented to town councillors next week.
Members of the planning committee will get the lowdown on the latest plans for the White Hart when they meet next Tuesday.
They will hear a presentation by Kris Mitra, of Genesis Town Planning, on the proposed conversion and redevelopment of the site.
The plans have yet to appear on the South Downs National Park Authority website and architects from the Chichester firm were unavailable to comment on Wednesday.
The building in College Street has been boarded up for two years and remains on the market through agents Gascoignes.
Reports of its replacement have dried up since a plan for 14 flats and houses were rejected by district councillors in September 2010.
The most recent development has been the addition of concrete blocks on the forecourt to prevent motorists taking advantage of free parking.
Plans to alter 21 Chapel Street will also be discussed at the meeting, which starts at 5.30pm in the town hall.
