OF the 20,000 runners who took part in the 25th Great South Run in Southsea on October 25, six were staff members from Coomers.

The five men and one woman from Coomers, a builders’ merchant in Bordon and Oakhanger, all ran 10 miles in aid of GUTS bowel cancer charity.

Coomers estimates the final total raised by the run will be about £1,300.

The company has been fundraising for GUTS in 2015 and hopes to have raised more than £3,500 for the charity by the end of the year.
