THERE is no need for Waverley to proceed with transfer of its housing stock because alternatives are offered by the government's green paper on housing, claims Simon Cordon.
The Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate for SW Surrey believes that the new thinking in the paper, "Quality and Choice: A decent home for all", are in direct conflict with Waverley's plans.
His claims have been branded "selective" and "mischievous" by Waverley's Conservative members.
