A PARCEL of land on a street corner of a residential area in Farnham went under the auctioneer’s hammer for £10,000.
The site adjacent to 9 Dollis Drive was among 148 lots being sold by regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.
Auctioneer Rob Marchant said: “We had a private bidder in the sales room keen to acquire the site, paying £10,000 freehold.
“This is a parcel of land located in a cul-de-sac position within walking distance of Farnham town centre and the mainline railway station.

In a separate development, company chairman Clive Emson has been presented with a top civic honour, the Kent Invicta Award, for his outstanding achievements and philanthropy across the county. He was also given a £5,000 cheque for Kent-based charities of his choice.
