THE Bishops Table Hotel has submitted scaled-down proposals for cottages in its grounds, as bosses continue to battle the threat of closure.
The aim is to give the Grade II Listed building a new lease of life by restoring and replanning it as an 18-bedroom hotel and providing all-important on-site car parking.
And in order to fund the changes, the plan is to provide a small development of cottages in the grounds at the back of the hotel.
