AN uninhabited 18th Century cottage in Blacknest is the focus of contentious renovation and extension plans.

Bybrook Cottage, in Binsted Road, Blacknest, has been in the same family for more than 50 years. The unlisted brick and tiled house is being renovated by Peter Archer, whose aunt lived in the house for many years.
