THE team at Cotton Traders, Country Market would like to thank everyone who participated in their fundraising event for the company’s nominated charity, Help for Heroes.
Running over the weekend, December 3 and 4, the event included guest appearances from the Help for Heroes mascot, Hero Bear, traditional games such as Guess the Weight of the Cake, How Many Sweets in the Jar? and a Kids’ Lucky Dip as well as a raffle with prizes donated by Cotton Traders and the other stores within the Country Market community. Lucky prize winners came from as far afield as Chichester, Alton, Aldershot and Camberley.
Cotton Traders team trader Janet Gould said: “It was a privilege to be part of this very worthwhile event. Our whole team went the extra mile and I am delighted to say that we collected £198.24 over the weekend. Added to the donations we have taken since we opened in Country Market this spring, we have just short of £300 to give to Help for Heroes. A big thank you to all our generous Country Market colleagues and to our wonderful customers for their support.”
Cotton Traders has been supporting Help for Heroes since 2011. It hopes to reach its national target of £1 million by the end of 2016.
