THE trustees of Sandy Hill Community Bungalow in Farnham, gratefully received a donation of £2,000 from Farnham Town Council.

This donation will help ensure that the Bungalow can continue its work of supporting the local community through the hiring out of space and its special projects, such as the community garden and youth group, Hot Chocolate, for 10 to 16 year old girls.

Cathy Burroughs, centre manger said: “We are very grateful, as we rely heavily on donations and we have a lot of volunteers here.

“The town council have been very kind and supportive over the years. The money will go towards continuing to provide the much-needed service which it provides for the community.”
