WAVERLEY Borough Council was remaining tight-lipped as speculation mounted it has decided to withdraw its key core strategy blueprint.

The masterplan will shape development in the borough until 2028.

A political row broke out following the last-minute decision to withdraw an agenda item from Tuesday night's executive meeting.
