USERS of car parks in Alton and Petersfield are to be asked their views on car parking policy following a decision by East Hampshire District Council's environment services committee to consult local people and businesses.

Consultation on these issues will continue until mid-April 2000 and will include a survey of car park users in Alton and Petersfield, consultation with business organisations in Alton and Petersfield, public debate at EHDC area community committees and a website and a newspaper questionnaire to allow everyone to make their views known.
