AS the Liberal Democrats failed last week to delay the introduction of controversial new car parking charges until after Christmas, local councillor Bob Booker has criticised East Hampshire District Council for failing to listen to the electorate.
Despite vociferous opposition from all sectors of the community, EHDC environment committee approved the increase in charges which will come into effect from October 30.
