THE Millennium Festival of Cycling got off to a free-wheeling start in Petersfield on Monday as East Hampshire District Council staff and officers handed over their car keys for the week and took to two wheels instead of the customary four.
"Going for Green by doing your bit" highlights a week of events around Britain with the emphasis on issues surrounding cycling, car sharing and alternative transport.
