THE council tax bill for an average, Band D, household in Waverley will rise to £1,485.46 in April - a 3.3 per cent overall increase, taking account of county, borough, police, town and parish levies.

Waverley Borough Council, which collects the tax for all the authorities concerned, approved the figures on Tuesday after agreeing its own, 3.8 per cent rise.
