WHITEHILL Town Council voted unanimously this week to keep the name of the town as "Whitehill and Bordon" – and chose not to set up a working party to investigate the idea of renaming the town.

Although councillors were against a name change, they did agree at their meeting, on Monday, that more clarification was needed with the title, especially as the eco-town project starts to snowball.
