AT least 10 people have fallen and injured themselves after tripping on a metal edge protruding from a pavement in Haslemere town centre, The Herald can reveal.

Town councillor Michael Foster was the latest victim of a fall, suffering cuts and severe bruising to his face and a badly-grazed knee.
He and his wife Fay, who is also a town councillor, are furious that repairs have taken at least three months since the problem was first reported.
