ALTON town councillors pledged to rack their brains to try and come up with alternative housing housing sites which would not, as would the Cadnam's Farm proposal, push the development boundaries of the town beyond their present limits.
Further discussion of the housing proposals at the town council's recent planning meeting included in East Hampshire's local plan produced a suggested solution to the controversial access problem to potential development land behind the Grange Hotel.
