MORE than 30 Hindhead residents applauded members of Haslemere Town Council's planning committee last Thursday when they objected to the latest plans for the British Car Auctions site in Hindhead.
Objections to the application, for a three-storey office building and six detached dwellings on the site on the A3 Portsmouth Road, included a loss of privacy to neighbouring properties, overdevelopment of the site and concerns about an increase in traffic and congestion.
