A FARNHAM representative has called for the resignation of two Waverley borough councillors over their "contemptuous" attendance record at public council meetings.
In a letter to The Herald, the independent town councillor for Upper Hale, David Beaman, accuses the two Farnham-based councillors of failing to represent their constituents and calls for them to step aside for someone "prepared to fulfil all the duties and responsibilities that the public expect".
Although Mr Beaman has not named the offenders directly, research by The Herald indicates the two Farnham-based members with the poorest attendance records at Waverley Borough Council are Tories Ian Sampson and Jennifer O'Grady.
