WHITEHILL Town Council has received two grants from Cllr Andy Tree’s Hampshire County Council grant budget.

It was given £500 for its Platinum Jubilee bench and £1,000 for its Green Loop drone project.

To avoid a conflict of interest the Whitehill Town Council leader did not judge the applications.

Instead this was done by Cllr Louise Parker-Jones, deputy leader of the county council’s independent group.

Lindford Parish Council received £850 from Cllr Tree’s county councillor budget for Christmas decorations in the village.
